I had photographed several deer and a nice buck in a field next to a wooded area, but the lighting wasn't very good. I determined that I needed early morning lighting, in that particular spot the deer liked, cloudy would be nice so as to not have to much contrast, and the buck to be there. I went back, the buck was there, but only for only a minute, posed and went back into the woods. I got the lighting right, this image, and I was blessed!
