The Roseate Spoonbill is a pretty, pink colored bird, with a long bill that is flattened into a spoon at the end. They feed in the shallow waters of fresh water ponds, brackish bays, and salt water mangroves. In Florida, they range from north central Florida, south alone the coastal regions. This image is a great example of how their bright pink color stands out.
