The Lab uses professional, ultra-high resolution large-format printers, the world's most advanced pigmented inks, and heavyweight materials such as ultra DMAX, brilliant white poly/cotton canvas. Canvas prints come with UV finishes that resist fading, moisture and abrasion. The canvas wraps are mounted using sustainable, kiln dried, 1½-inch hardwood stretcher bars. But the combination of equipment, materials and care means the prints can resist fading and deterioration for a generation or longer! The Lab uses rigorous standards for genuine Giclée canvas prints, which refers to the highest caliber of canvas prints; made with professional-grade printers and archival inks.

Metal Prints

A metal print outshines any other printing medium in terms of quality and durability. Besides the clarity of an image, metal is waterproof, scratch resistant , and will outlast any other type of print. Metal Prints do not need to be put into a frame and may be hung in places that may not be ideal for other types of prints such as where moisture is a concern. The lab uses Dye Sublimation on high-quality ChromaLuxe aluminum panels. The ChromaLuxe aluminum is the highest quality aluminum panel made specifically for dye sublimation. What makes a ChromaLuxe panel superior to everything else is its high quality coating that absorbs the ink and results in a HD print that can't be matched by any other printing medium. This allows the inks to turn into a gas and become absorbed into the polyester coating surface of the aluminum panel. The end result is a sharp, vivid print that almost has a 3D feel to it, which will last for 65 years or more if placed out of direct sunlight.
