The diminutive Burrowing Owl fascinates me, and even though they are rare, I have hundreds of images of them going about their daily lives. Unfortunately, they are declining at alarming levels, due to development and habitat loss, which is a shame. I took this photo early in the morning, with the rising sun backlighting the dew covered cobweb, and the grass shaded the the body of the owl to make a really nice Black and White.
